In September of 1995 we contracted with dX Software Systems to develop an equipment maintenance tracking and scheduling program, targeted specifically to our industry. We shrink-wrapped and marketed the program as our own product. Since this software would represent us to our customers and peers, we wanted it to be of high quality and backed by reliable technical capability.

George Shubin, the owner of dX Software, has been there for us every step of the way. From development to support, George has been accessible, reliable, easy to work with, and quick in responding to our needs and questions. Although we are in Illinois and dX is in Oregon, we have found communication by phone, fax, and modem to make distance irrelevant.

Because of this, our program, ProFile, has been well received by our industry and is installed in sites across the country.

dX has not only developed our first version, but subsequent editions, each with significant feature enhancements. We look forward to continuing our relationship with George and dX Software. We can without reservation recommend George Shubin and dX Software System.

An Architectural Firm

Our goal was to transfer our Estimating Database from our VAX Oracle system to a new DOS Oracle system operating on a Novell Network. George Shubin of dX Software transferred our database and rewrote our specialized in-house programs so that they would operate on the DOS platform. Due to the complexity of our programs, George encountered various obstacles to which he was able to suggest and implement alternate solutions.

We are now up and running on our new system enjoying the faster speed, greater confidence and exploring new concepts. George has performed all of the tasks that were asked of him in an orderly and timely fashion.

Our project was completed within the budget we had allocated.

George Shubin of dX Software was able to create a user-friendly program for us. We found him to be very professional in his approach to computerizing our paper functions.

Our office was located in our home at that time. We grew quite fond of George during the developmental phase. There were several occasions when we were absent and it was necessary for us to give George access to our house. We found him to be very trustworthy and never had any worry with the fact that he had a key and full access to our home. His character is beyond reproach.
